What is How To Fold A Towel?
It's a live operational alignment demonstration. In under an hour, the audience will unknowingly produce wildly different results from the same task — and the gap between those results is the same gap that's costing business time, money, and rework every day. The exercise used to surface it happens to be folding a towel. That's not the point. The point is what gets revealed.
Why a towel?
It's simple enough that there's nowhere to hide. When a group is handed a task this basic and still produces inconsistent results, the cause isn't the task — it's the instructions, the assumptions, and the systems behind it. The same gap shows up in onboarding docs, handoffs, and SOPs; a towel just makes it visible in five minutes instead of five months.

Is it interactive?
Yes — participants run the live exercise themselves, then apply the findings directly to their own team or business using the A.S.S.I.S.T. framework. This isn't a lecture with an activity bolted on; the exercise is the audit.
Is this really just about folding towels?
No. The towel is the vehicle, not the subject. What's being examined is instruction quality, communication gaps, and operational consistency — the towel just makes those normally invisible problems visible in real time.
